Specification

Technical specifications are one of the main normative documents on standardization. The technical specifications are approved by the manufacturer-organization and contain the main characteristics of the products, references to the order of acceptance, quality control, pressure, transportation and storage.

With the help of technical specifications, the manufacturer provides the consumer with information about the meaning, application, consumer characteristics, labeling, order of transportation and storage of products.

As a regulatory document, technical conditions are widely used in contracts between the manufacturer and the buyer. Often, when ordering products, the technical conditions code is indicated simultaneously with the product name, which allows you to uniquely identify the products.

The application of technical specifications as an organization standard is widely used in an international attempt. As a rule, technical specifications are developed for new products and allow the manufacturer to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions. Technical specifications are developed for products whose quality and safety indicators are not standardized by national standards.

According to the Law of RA "About Standardization", technical specifications are subject to registration. Registration of technical conditions on the territory of the Republic of Armenia is carried out by the National Institute of Standards.
